World’s Thinnest Smartphone, The Oppo Finder, is Now Available for Pre-order
Some phone makers, especially those in China, are actively aiming to develop thinnest smartphones in the industry. At 7.1mm, the Motorola DROID RAZR once held the title, before it was dethroned by Huawei Ascend P1 at 6.68mm thick. That was months ago, but now the world’s smallest smartphone title belongs to the Oppo Finder. Consumers can now pre-order the phone and it’s expected that the handset will hit shelves on July 1st. The handset features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4.3” Super-AMOLED Plus display.
The Oppo Finder come preinstalled with Android 4.0 right of the box and has 16GB of internal storage. The 8Mp rear-facing camera is supported by dual-LED flash and can capture 1080p videos. It also has a 1.3Mp front-facing shooter that can capture 720p videos. The Oppo Finder may not become the thinnest commercially–available smartphone for long, as a teaser of the 6.2mm thin ZTE Athena has already been released.
