ViewSonic Will Unveil a 22” Tablet in Computex 2012
We have seen 13” slates out there, but isn’t a 22” Android tablet a bit overboard? Perhaps not. Portability aside, the Viewsonic 22” tablet is dubbed as a smart tablet monitor. The large-sized tablet was recently unveiled through a teaser video. It will be powered by Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) and to be announced officially next month at Computex 2012 in Taiwan. The device in question is likely a trial model and Viewsonic may have plans for introducing a Windows 8 tablet featuring similar display dimension, laser projectors and cloud computing services.
Being huge in size, it is safe to assume that the tablet to be quite high on performance level as well, since it will be aimed for the demanding enterprise market. On the downside, Viewsonic hasn’t made available specific details on hardware configuration. Obviously, making speculations here is a bit difficult as we don’t have similar devices for baseline comparison. However, it is quite likely that the huge tablet will have any of Qualcomm’s or Nvidia’s latest offerings.
