The iOS 6.0 Will Introduce Major Interface Redesign and Facebook Integration
Apple’s plan to overhaul its iTunes Store and App Store was first unveiled this February. Now with the WDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) just around the corner, new rumors are emerging. 9to5Mac, the familiar source for Apple-related leaks, revealed that Apple will add iBookstore to its online marketplaces network. The major overhaul will be focused to improve interactivity when users make online transactions via the said stores.
Earlier this year, Apple acquired Chomp, the online search company. After Apple decided to throw Google Map away from the iOS 6, this could be another attempt to bypass the Google Search capability. So far, details on major overhauls are still dim, but it is reported that we will get Facebook integration.
TechCrunch reported yesterday that an internal source confirmed that integration with Facebook will indeed be coming to the next version of iOS, with both companies are working to sign the deal. However, we should keep a neutral stance towards any rumor and always take it with a pinch of salt.
