The Highly Dynamic Chameleon UI for Android Tablets Will Be Released in September
The user interface of Android tablets works much like tablets. We can arrange shortcuts to homescreen and place widget to show headlines, weather, time or other real-time information. But apparently folks behind Chameleon UI think differently and they believe there’s a better way to use Android. They have developed a launcher that provides more customizable experience that changes dynamically based on certain factors, such as geographical location and time of the day. Screenshots of Chameleon UI have been making round in the Internet recently and its developer is raising money to complete the project, hopefully by September.
Donors may pledge $5 and get first opportunity to download the launcher before the official release. You can also donate a larger amount and get the chance to win interesting reward, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Unfortunately, the first release of Chameleon UI won’t support Android smartphones and it is optimized only for tablets with 1280×800 pixels resolution.
