SkyDrive for Android app is Updated to Version 1.1
Cloud-based services are increasingly influencing our digital lifestyle, while many apps are designed to work only with these services. We can hardly find a major enterprise that isn’t developing and offering a form of cloud-based storage service. Microsoft is known as a prominent player in this area with the SkyDrive service, which is essentially a cloud-based storage service, where users can get free 7GB of space.
It is a good thing to know that Microsoft has recently updated the SkyDrive for Android app to version 1.1. It offers a number of features that can improve the usability of the service, including the ability to upload files directly from the microSD card. Previously, users need to move files to internal storage before the actual transfer to the cloud. The new version also offers revamped visuals and a number of bugfixes. The app currently supports devices with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or above.
