Scroll Extreme: A Fast and Affordable Tablet

The Scroll Extreme is a rugged tablet with aluminum casing measuring 242.9x189x9.9 mm, it looks as good as tablets of more popular brands. It uses Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), which is supported by the 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 single-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, expandable with up to 32 GB of microSD card. It display is a respectable 9.7 incher with a generous 1024×768 pixels resolution. The tablet sports a modest 2Mp rear-facing camera and a 1.3Mp front-facing camera.. A HDMI output is available to play recorded videos onto a TV.
Although the Scroll Extreme is not the most powerful tablet around, it easily taunts Apple’s best offering, especially if you look the capability it offer for less than £200. Despite its obvious attractions, there is still a substantial criticism to be made about it. Due to license restrictions issue, users don’t get access to the Android Market (now Google Play).
