Samsung’s Tweet Hinted the Release Date of the Galaxy Note II
A tweet from the Samsung Mobile Arabia told us that a new Galaxy Note will be released this October and it will come with an app that would interest iOS users. The feature is likely the Easy Phone Sync that will allow users to transfer data from an iPhone to a Samsung device. We will be able to transfer images, videos, messages, contacts and others from an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch to a Samsung Galaxy model.
Plenty of rumors have been circulating about the upcoming iteration of the Galaxy Note II. It may have a 5.4” or 5.4” flexible display with substrate plastic OLED instead of a standard layer of glass. It may also have a bigger battery, perhaps similar to Galaxy S3’s 2100 mAh battery and it is reportedly to ship with a sturdy non-pastics body. For years, Samsung’s devices have been criticized for their toy-like, plasticky and cheap look.
The phablet may come with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) or even Jelly Bean (Android 4.1). Jelly Bean isn’t official yet but rumor has it that we will see an official release at Google’s I/O event this week.
