Samsung SM-Z130H Will Run Tizen OS
We heard reports earlier that Samsung’s Tizen operating system will be introduced along with entry-level smartphone model and it is possible the Samsung SM-Z130H. The Samsung-focused website, SamMobile, has recently discovered a bit more details about the phone, such as the screenshot of the operating system. Apparently, the SM-Z130H will be beased on Tizen 2.3 and the layout seems to be rather similar with typical TouchWiz interface. It comes with typical Samsung’s proprietary features, including Private Mode and Ultra Power Saving Mode.
There are also various preinstalled apps, including Google’s apps, Twitter and Facebook. Kiran is the early codename for the SM-Z130G and the actual commercial isn’t yet known.
Specs-wise, the phone comes with rather basic features, such as the 4-inch TFT WVGA display, VGA front-facing camera, 3.2Mp rear-facing camera, 1.2GHz Spreadstrum SC7727S processor, 512MB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, WiFi and dual SIM slots. The phone may arrive later this year in India, followed by other emerging market. There’s no information about its pricing, but it shouldn’t be too expensive. Samsung continues to release new smartphone the market and the Tizen OS is considered a Plan B, in case something wrong happens with Android.
