Samsung Repp Review
Samsung Repp is an entry-level smartphone with a decent 3.2” touchscreen display and Gingerbread (Android 2.3). It features an 800MHz single core processor, 2GB of free microSD card and 1500mAh battery, which is adequate for delivering 12.5 days of standby time and 8 hours of talk time. It brings a 3.2Mp camera and feels somewhat lightweight at 105.5 grams. Samsung Repp works on CDMA network and reception is generally clear. The speakerphone is loud enough to be used outdoors and the optional Jawbone Era Bluetooth makes voice calls sound even better.
Samsung doesn’t add TouchWiz UI and the Android interface is generally stock. There are five homescreens, which is filled with some widgets and apps, as well as a few bloatware. The performance level isn’t blazing fast, but you should be able to complete most tasks smoothly. Despite its many drawbacks, the Samsung Repp is still an acceptable smartphone that delivers many predictable things.
