Samsung I6712 Review
The Samsung I6712 is an entry-level, lightweight phone, which weighs 100 grams and measures 12.2mm thick. The 3.2” (240 x 400) touch-based capacitive display has 262k color depth and proximity sensor, with a pixel density count of 126ppi, which results in reduced sharpness. The phone has an exceptionally long battery life, 13.33 hours of talk time and 1090 hours of standby time, thanks to the decent 1200mAh battery.
The 3.2Mp rear-facing camera has video recording capability, which produces decent images in the low-end category. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB port (with USB 2.0 standards), which is usable for USB charging and file transfer. The Samsung I6712 has an external memory slot, which supports only up to 16GB microSD card.
Overall, the phone lacks ambient light sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, LED flash and autofocus with a somewhat pixilated display. However, the Samsung I6712 is reasonably interesting with its low price tag, dual-SIM support and Broadband Mobile TV.
