Samsung Galaxy S3 for Sprint and Verizon Reached FCC
FCC recently released specifications for Samsung Galaxy S3 slated for release in Sprint’s and Verizon’s networks. The Sprint version has a model number of SPH-L710 and Verizon with SCH-1535. Sprint’s handset supports CDMA network and EVDO data connectivity, as well as 4G LTE. Verizon’s model also comes with 4G LTE connectivity, as well as GSM voice call and EDGE, running at 850MHz and 1900MHz bands. However, there’s no word on 3D data connectivity.
Samsung’s latest smartphone is one of the most anticipated handset this year. Although there have been some setback with the shipment of white and blue models, it should hit shelves soon. Delivery to UK has also been delayed and there’s no confirmation when consumers should expect to see their phones arrive. As always, release date to US market would come a little later at the end of this month. Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy S3 will be released in many different variants, but the standard International version has 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8Mp rear facing camera Android 4.0 and wireless charging capability.
