Samsung Galaxy Pocket Review
With its 2.8” QVGA display and 832MHz single-core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Pocket is a perfect smartphone for budget-conscious users. A 1200mAh battery lurks under its back cover and an autofocus-less 2Mp camera can be found on its back. Users also get a 3GB of onboard storage, A-GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G support, all confined within a 12mm body.
Tipping the scale at 97 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Pocket is significantly lighter than most Android smartphones in the market today. In terms of operating system, we get the older, but still usable Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The software is enhanced with numerous goodies along the usual set of Google features, such as TouchWiz UI and ChatON service. Users can get a decent 7 hours of talk time and 470 hours of standby time. Despite its poor specs, the Samsung Galaxy Pocket should still be appealing with its low price tag and respectable dimension.
