Samsung Galaxy Note 2 May Feature Flexible Display
Samsung will release Galaxy Note 2 sometime this year and it may feature the YOUM flexible display, which was announced a few months ago. The phablet may feature an 8Mp or 12Mp rear-facing camera and the device will extend Samsung’s success with the original device. Samsung has shipped 7 million units of the first Galaxy Note worldwide. Concept images of Galaxy Note hint identical elements to the Galaxy S3, which quite predictable as the original Galaxy Note shared many features of Galaxy S2.
The upcoming phablet will include a 5.5” Super-AMOLED display with WSXGA (1680 x 1050) resolution. The 360ppi pixel density will surpass the best Apple can offer and it will also feature PenTile Matrix. Other specs are Exynos 5250 dual-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. Rumors also stated that Samsung will officially unveil the tablet in October and it will hit stores before the holiday season. Samsung Galaxy Note was the first of its kind and other phone makers are now planning to release similar devices.
