Samsung Galaxy Express is Officially Announced
The Galaxy Express is yet another smartphone that will soon join Samsung’s expansive lineup. The phone will be targeted towards value-driven consumers, particularly teenagers and young adults. It is equipped with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.5” WVGA (480 x 800) Super AMOLED Plus display, 1GB of RAM, 2000MAh battery and 8GB of onboard storage. Above the display, there’s a 1.3 Mp front-facing snapper and on the back, a 5Mp autofocus-equipped rear camera. The phone runs the earlier version of Jelly Bean OS, the Android 4.1.
The phone sports connectivity options commonly found on Android smartphones, including WiFi, microUSB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, WiFi tethering, WiFi Direct, S-Beam and AllShare Play and MHL. AllShare Play allows users to share content with Smart-capable mobile devices and Smart TV. S-Beam is a NFC-based technology that offers quick file transfer capability through taps between phones. There are various sensors used by the phone including, gyroscope, proximity, ambient, digital compass and accelerometer.
