Samsung Galaxy Core Will Arrive in Russia and China Next Month
Another day, another yet-unannounced Android smartphone! Now, we are dealing with Samsung’s new smartphone, the Galaxy Core GT-I8262. The phone is expected to initially arrive in China and Russia. It will sport 4.3” WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core chip and 768MB of RAM. Nothing is particularly impressive, but it may appeal to users of mid-range devices.
The Galaxy Core is outfitted with a couple of cameras, with a 5Mp sensor on the back of the phone. The 8GB of internal storage is expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. Weighing at 140 grams, the phone is also equipped with 1,800mAh battery, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. Like other Samsung’s newer Galaxy smartphones, the Core also has nature-inspired user interface on top of the Android OS, in this case the version 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
The photo shows that the Galaxy Core supports dual-SIM configuration, but a variant with single SIM slot might launch as well. The phone is said to be planned for launch mid-May in Russia priced at approximately $417.
