RAZR MAXX HD and DROID RAZR HD Are Affected By Antenna Issues
Motorola showcased three brand new RAZR handsets earlier this month and they are heading to Verizon. So far, the US-based firm only released the DROID RAZR, while the RAZR MAXX HD and DROID RAZR HD would be out before the holiday season. Unfortunately, sources are telling us that both Motorola’s devices seem to be plagued by faulty antenna. The problem isn’t only caused by the location and size of the antennas, but also possible signal degradation due to direct contact with external parts of the handsets. Recently released FCC documentation also shows that not only the antenna placement on both devices is different to what we see on the DROID RAZR M, but the antenna is also smaller.
Motorola is working to address this issue and the company is still pushing for a holiday release. Hopefully, Motorola is doing the right thing, because we don’t want to see something like DROID BIONIC with its unbelievably poor signal reception.
