Qualcomm Releases Reign of Amira: The Lost Kingdom to Demonstrate the Performance of Snapdragon 600
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor is to be used on various high-end smartphones released in 2013, including the Samsung Galaxy S4. Qualcomm seems to be eager enough to show how powerful its chip could be. For this purpose, they have just released a game to let consumers about the potentials of Snapdragon 600.
Reign of Amira: The Lost Kingdom is now available for download at Google Play store. It should be noted that as a tech demo, the Reign of Amira: The Lost Kingdom is free for use. It requires at least Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) and 122MB of internal storage. Despite being optimized for Snapdragon 600, users of Nexus 4 reported that they can play the game just fine.
Like the original game, the Reign of Amir: The Lost Kingdom; it also features the top-down perspective and the familiar hack-and-slash gameplay. As usual users need to mow down hordes of baddies, but the game looks better as the graphics have been significantly overhauled.
