Palm Pixi Plus is Now Available in AT&T for $19,99
Many of us thought that webOS devices had died off months ago, but apparently they are wrong in that assumption, because one of AT&T GoPhones is essentially a webOS-toting Palm Pixi Plus. The smartphone usually goes for $149,99, but the price has slid down to a very pleasing $19,99, including the free 2-day priority shopping.
Spec wise, there’s nothing impressive about the phone. It has a Qualcomm S1 600 MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, a physical QWERTY keyboard, 2.63” touchscreen display, 2Mp rear-facing camera with LED flash, 8GB of integrated storage, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. The smartphone weighs 92 grams and measures 111 x 55 x 10.8 mm, while the 1150mAh battery is expected to deliver 350 hours of standby time and 5 hours of talk time. Unfortunately, Palm Pixi Plus doesn’t come with a microSD card slot and users only get 7GB of free space from the 8GB of internal storage.
The smartphone was first announced at CES 2010 and unlike the original Pixi, it has support for WiFi and tethering.
