Nokia Lumia 610 Will Feature WiFi Tethering
Nokia recently published an official Q&A Web page for the Lumia 900 and we already know most of the information contained in it, even so a few tidbits are still worth mentioning. For example, the page confirmed that both Lumia 900 and 610 will feature Wifi tethering. The Lumia 610 is an entry level handset with Windows Phone Tango OS, 3.2″ display and 2Mp rear facing camera.
On the other hand, a Zune update for Lumia 800 and 710 will also enable the same capability. Nokia included a question about when the lumia 900 will be released on the AT&T network, but unsurprisingly the Finnish company still uses the same vague answer that it will be available in the coming months.
Another interesting question posted is about the PureView 808 and its impressive 41MP technology. However the company says that it doesn’t comment on future products but it is aiming to become a leader in the mobile phone photography and will bring the innovation into its future products. Nokia made similar statement when it revealed that the PureView technology will make its way to future Lumia models.
Tethering may not be something to get really excited about, but at least consumers that plan on buying Lumia 610 know that they will get tethering support. It is also good to know that the giant phone maker will also be showing some love to owners of other Lumia models. We still don’t know when the Lumia 900 will be launching, but it may be released in the last days of April.
