Nokia Asha 308 Review
The Asha 308 is an entry-level candybar phone that adds variety to Nokia’s ever-expanding phone lineup. The phone has 13mm thickness and feels rather light at 119 grams. The 3” LCD 65k capacitive multitouch display uses 240 x 400 pixels resolution, resulting in a rather low pixel density of 155 ppi. With 1100mAh battery, the Nokia Asha 308 offers 9 hours of talk time and 470 hours (20 days) of standby time. The 2Mp rear-facing camera is equipped with self-timer, digital zoom, white balance presets and exposure compensation.
It records low resolution (176 x 144) clips at only 10 fps. The lack of LED flash and autofocus further degrades the camera somewhat. The phone only supports EDGE and GPRS data connection, displayed on the Nokia Browser 2.0. Available connection options are Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB port, suitable for USB charging and mass storage. The Nokia Asha 308 may disappoint many, but its dual-SIM capability can help save you from purchasing another phone.
