Motorola Electrify 2 and Defy XT are Arriving to US Cellular
The Motorola Electrify 2 and Defy XT are coming to US Cellular’s network. The Electrify 2 runs Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) with 8.4mm thick design, 4.3” ColorBoost touchscreen display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor and splash-resistant Kevlar layer. It also comes with an 8Mp rear-facing camera, which is capable of recording 1080p videos.
The company states that phone should be adequate for people who crave for premium features, although the phone seems to fit more in the upper mid-range market segment, due to the lack of LTE connectivity and quad-core processor. Motorola’s unique app, the SmartActions allows users to automate everyday tasks and extend battery life. Users can get it for $199.99 for a 2-year contract with a $100 rebate, which is comparable to on contract Samsung Galaxy S3.On the other hand, Defy XT should suitable for people looking for a more durable device. It has 3.7” display, 5Mp rear-facing camera, and water-resistant, dust-proof chassis.
