LG Nitro HD Will Be Released Soon
The LG Nitro HD is another phone that will tap AT&T’s emerging 4G LTE network. The phone is powered with a blazing fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the future standard for high-end smartphones in 2012, perhaps until the nVidia Tegra 3 arrives. The LG Nitro HD packs an 8Mp camera which can capture HD 1080p videos. The phone is preloaded with 16Gb MicroSD card, although the phone can support up to 32GB, while the 4GB internal memory allows users to install plenty of apps and games. Measuring at 5.3×2.7×0.4 inches, the phone features a wonderful slim design. The 4.5” display takes up most of the Nitro’s length and the 1280×720 display can show movies marvelously, because it is based on the Advanced High Performance In-Plane Switching technology (AH-IPS). Nitro HD’s display has 500-nit luminance, which allows users to clearly view objects on the screen under the sunlight.
The support for 4G (LTE) network is a big plus for the LG Nitro HD as it allows users to take advantage of the super fast Internet connection. The phone will be running Android 2.3.5 and luckily, an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) will be released in 2012. The phone is available for 249.99 with a 2-year contract online and in AT&T store starting December 4.
The LG Nitro HD is definitely an amazing device and compared to the iPhone 4S, the phone definitely offers some significant advantages, such as larger display and faster processor.
