LG Could Be Working on Mid-Range LG G4 Stylus
It has been speculated that the LG G4 will be equipped with a stylus to better compete with the Galaxy Note 4 and its S-Pen. LG has filed a trademark application to the USPTO for the G4 Stylus name. However, a source has indicated that the company has decided against using a stylus for the high-end version of the device.
The current LG G3 Stylus is a mid-range model and we can’t be certain whether there will be a successor. A device with model number LG-H631 has emerged recently in a document and it is also called the P1S. It is believed to be an AT&T’s variant of the LG G4, but it has only 720 x 1280 screen resolution. So, it is likely a sequel to the mini version of LG G3.
LG still doesn’t have a solution similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note series. The S Pen gives users more capabilities than just using it as a writing and pointing tool. It is software-optimized and can be gripped quite easily. The LG G3 Stylus is intended to provide mid-range users with capability similar to the Galaxy Note 4, but with cheaper prices. Users shouldn’t expect to get impressive hardware configuration.
