Lenovo Reveals K860 LePhone
Samsung’s powerful Exynos 4412 quad-core processor is quite a hit among some phone makers. For example, Lenovo has just unveiled the K860 LePhone, powered by the same chip, clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphones has a 5” 720p display and Mali-400 GPU. The LED-supported 8Mp rear-facing camera can capture an impressive 100 sequential shots in a single burst, while the 2Mp front-facing shooter ensure users look at their best during a video call session.
With a 2250mAh battery, the K860 LePhone may keep up with other high-end handsets when it comes to endurance. Coupled with a power-efficient hardware, the smartphone has 10 days of stand-by time and 10 hours of talk time. Despite lugging a huge, Gorilla Glass-clad 5” display, the K860 LePhone is reasonably slim and light, in fact, it’s 0.5mm thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note. It comes with a 4GB of internal storage, which is a very limited amount of storage in the high-end category. Release date and pricing have yet to be announced, but Lenovo needs to sell the phone for less than $300 to compete with affordable, high-end smartphones released by other Chinese phone makers, such as the Xiaomi Phone 2.
