So how does it work? Instead of conventional speakers, the smartphone will feature an innovative vibrating display that can conduct sound up our ear canal. The technology can improve audibility both for people with normal hearing and with hearing impairment.
The phone will be powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon S2 dual-core processor, which is supported by 1GB of RAM. Other features are 4” display, 4GB of onboard storage, 8.1Mp rear-facing camera and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The phone will have features unique to Japanese smartphone market such as Felica mobile payments, infrared and others. It will also supports a plethora of data connectivity options such as, GPRS and UMTS as well as support for both CDMA and GSM. It is still not known how the phone will play songs and emit sounds for games.
