Huawei Honor 4 Could be Released on December 16
We have been hearing that Huawei is hiding an octa-core smartphone up its sleeve and soon we will know if these reports are true or not. The company has recently sent out invites for the release date of the Honor 4, which may arrive on December 16. That’s only a couple of day before Vivo releases its next flagship, the Xplay 3S. The Honor 4 or Glory 4 is probably a direct response to the Xiaomi Red Rice Hongmi.
If recent speculations are true, the Honor 4 could be equipped with MediaTek’s increasingly popular “true” octa-core processor. Clocked at 1.7GHz, the SoC could have all its eight cores to run simultaneously. There are conflicting reports on the actual hardware specs of the phone.
Earlier rumors said that the there will be 8Mp sensor on the back and the latest one said that the phone will tout a 13Mp rear-facing camera and 5Mp front-facing shooter. Instead of 1GB of RAM mentioned in earlier rumors, we could get 2GB of RAM. The touchscreen display may stretch to about 5.5-inch diagonally. The screen may spew out 720 x 1280 pixels at a time and users could benefit from the 32GB of internal storage. The phone is said to run Jelly Bean Android 4.2.2 operating system.
