HTC Rezound Review
The HTC Rezound is a super smartphone that strives to be the best in the industry. The phone features impressive features: it is powered by a snappy 1.5GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 220 GPU. The phone offers 8Mp camera with 1080p HD recording capabilities, while the front-facing 2Mp camera is adequate for video conferencing. The HTC Rezound is also the first phone in the US that offers 720p and it directly competes with the Google Nexus Prime.
HTC devices are not acknowledged for their thin design and the HTC Rezound is 13.1mm thick, which is much thicker than the Droid RAZR at 7.1mm. The smartphone may be somewhat hefty, however it will fit quite well into your hand due to the tapered design. As you move your hand toward the center, the thickness increases, while the plastic coating offers better grip. Just like other high-end smartphone, the HTC Rezound offers 3.5mm jack, noise-canceling microphone and USB port. The phone also supports Verizon’s LTE network.
Rezound’s display is simply marvelous, the 4.3” S-LCD capacitive touchscreen offers 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and at 342 ppi it slightly beats iPhone 4S with its 330 ppi display. Watching videos on HTC Rezound is a treat to the eyes. The mature Android 2.3.4 OS is further enhanced by the HTC Sense 3.5 UI and the phone will be upgradeable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which will bring many further enhancements. The phone comes with the Beats Audio headphones with finely crafted ear buds. The bass quality is exceptional and it includes the audio enhancer app.
