HTC Proto Could Be Similar to the Desire X
Rumors of the HTC Proto circulated last week and it could actually be a device that has been released earlier. We are getting some clarification that the smartphone in question is actually the brand-new HTC Desire X. The Desire X certainly won’t any award in the industry, but it is still a capable entry-level smartphone with some decent qualities that make it worth your money. It specs include a 4” WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage, all of them packed within a 9.3mm thick chassis, weighing at only 114 grams.
In addition to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.4), it is confirmed that the HTC Desire X will feature the snappier Sense UI 4.1, which is a good sign as many HTC’s budget-friendly devices are still using Sense 3.6 UI. The phone looks remarkably small when sitting next to HTC’s behemoth, the HTC One X. Given the specs, the HTC Desire X could have a low price tag and rocking the Beats Audio technology, it will surely have better audio capability compared to much cheaper devices.
