HTC J will be Released in Japan Soon
Over in Japan, consumers are always getting their special version of a phone model. This time around, a variant of HTC One S, called the HTC J, will be available in the Japanese market shortly. The HTC J offers 1.5GHz dual core processor, 4.3” qHD Pentile touchscreen display, 8Mp rear-facing camera, HTC Sense 4.0 UI and support for WiMAX network. The phone is a tad thicker than the original HTC One S and it comes with minor interface changes. The traditional HTC clock is now more transparent to prevent it from getting in the way of the background, because Japanese customers are known to regularly use family portraits in their phone as wallpaper.
Word is the smartphone will become available in three color options, black, red and white. Like other ‘One’ phones, it will have Beats Audio earphone, but there’s still no word on release date and price tag. WiMAX network in Japan was first installed in Kawasaki, Yokohama and Tokyo on early 2009, it offers up to 40 Mbps downlink and 7.2 Mbps uplink, which is roughly similar to the performance of 4G (LTE) network.
