Galaxy Note III Will Have 6.3” Display and 8-core Processor
Each new day is always a good time for some more rumors from the mobile industry and now, there are reports about a new Samsung Galaxy Note model. The Galaxy Note III will further push the display size implementation among high-end smartphones, until it nearly reaches the 7-inch limit. The upcoming phablet will feature a whopping 6.3” display as well as the enigmatic Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor.
The new chip was officially unveiled during CES 2013 and it’s based on ARM’s newest architecture, the big.LITTLE, which based on Cortex A15 technology. Build using 28nm process, the Exynos 5 Octa can handle serious tasks without sacrificing battery life too much.
Along with the Galaxy S4, the Note III will be Samsung’s flagship devices for 2013. The former is to feature a bigger display and a much thinner bezel. Earlier Galaxy S models were launched between April and June, so we can assume that the Galaxy S4 will be released on May 2013 followed shortly by the Note III.
