Facebook Home Receives Mixed Receptions
Facebook gets a lot of love from Internet users, but its new Home launcher may not get similarly enthusiastic reception. The popular social networking service has recently released its new software-based offering. Unfortunately, more people on Google Play store give it one-star rating than the full five-star rating.
There’s usually something that’s amiss, if an app is panned by users. Common issues are too little functionality or poor design, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. One common complain is that Facebook’s new interface takes over the phone and makes it harder to do things unrelated to Facebook.
Mark Zuckerberg promised that the Facebook will be an extension that brings people we know to the forefront.
Nevertheless, the Home is still the ticket for those who think that Facebook is an endless reunion party and they should check new wall updates every half an hour.
Also users with specific devices like the HTC Evo and Samsung Galaxy S3, seem to like the new interface. One favorite feature is the Chat Head, which is people’s photo profile with conversation bubbles.
