Early Details of The Next Samsung Galaxy Nexus Surface
Possible details of the next Galaxy Nexus smartphone are surfacing and the handset is currently codenamed GT-I9260 “Superior”. Considering that current Samsung Galaxy Nexus has a model number of GT-I9250, this could only suggest a direct successor. The phone may have 4.65” Super-AMOLED HD display and a 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 dual core processor of an unspecified type. Other features found on the smartphone may also include an 8Mp rear-facing camera, 1.9Mp front-facing camera, 16GB of onboard storage and a microSD card slot.
As a comparison, the 2011 model of Samsung Galaxy Nexus only uses 5Mp camera on the back and a 1.3Mp sensor on the front. Samsung is currently the leader in Android ecosystem and this could be the second time in row the South Korean phone maker takes charge of developing a Nexus smartphone. To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Android, it has also been rumored that five new Nexus devices will be released this fall.
