Details on HTC Ville is Leaked Again on the Net
HTC, the Taiwanese company will release another high-end device, called the HTC Ville. The device may get a 4.3-inch Super-AMOLED display with 540 x 960 resolution and powered with Qualcomm 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, however, at 256 ppi pixel density, the screen quality won’t come close to the iPhone 4S and HTC Rezound. Its 8 Mp camera can produce 1080p HD videos and the phone will be powered by Ice Cream Sandwich, however based on latest reports; the phone may have capacitive buttons, which are needed in an Ice Cream Sandwich device.
HTC Ville will be equipped with 21Mbps HSPA+, 5.76 HSUPA and Beats audio technology as well as Beats earphone. The phone also has 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 (A2DP and EDR) and microUSB 2.0 port. The 8.49mm thick phone will get the HTC Sense 4 UI, which will work on top of the Android 4.0 OS. The 1650 mAh battery should be able to keep the phone running for more than one day. The phone may eventually be introduced on the MEC (Mobile World Congress) in February 2012 and will enter the market a couple of months later.
The HTC Ville will join the rank of many Ice Cream Sandwich smartphones released next year. Other useful features include Face Unlock, voice-to-text feature and enhanced user interface. There is also a possibility that the name “Ville” is just an early codename and HTC may use another name when the phone is officially introduced.
