Details on BlackBerry Laguna Are Revealed
Based on various sources, it is likely RIM (Research in Motion) is working on a new smartphone called the BlackBerry 10 Laguna. Unlike many other leaks, we get a rather detailed specs list mentioning a 4.3” display with 1280 x 768 pixels resolution yielding in a very high pixel density of 355 ppi. The screen will have 15:9 display ratio and 24-bit color depth.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus chip, supported by 1GB of RAM and Adreno 225 GPU. Users can easily expand the 16GB onboard storage with up to 32GB of microSD card. The phone also boasts a decent user-removable battery and 8Mp rear-facing camera with 1080p video capture support. Available connectivity options are WiFi Direct, NFC and 4G (LTE). While the company hasn’t confirmed the existence of the Laguna, the phone can definitely help RIM to turn the tide as the phone is unusually well-equipped compared to other BlackBerry devices.
