Details on a Low Cost Version of HTC One X Emerge Online
It appears a new affordable Android smartphone will come out of HTC’s production lines. However, there seems to be some confusion as to what the handset will eventually be called. The phone is also codenamed HTC Golf. An unnamed source said the smartphone was originally called the HTC Wildfire C and it will be officially released as HTC Desire C. Various sources came up with some specs details for the phone, such as a sub-1GHz single core processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and HTC Sense 4.0 UI.
In addition, previous reports on HTC Wildfire C and HTC Golf revealed specs details with 3.2” touchscreen display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 5Mp rear-facing camera. Having said that all, the Taiwan-based phone maker hasn’t confirmed anything about this detail yet. There’s still a possibility that the phone would come out sporting none of the above monikers. Additionally, some observers have dubbed the phone a baby or mini HTC One X.
