Dell Latitude Specs Were Leaked
Details of Dell Latitude 10, an upcoming Windows 8 tablet, have emerged and it will be released later this year. The tablet will run the Intel Clover Trail Atom dual-core processor and a 10.1” capacitive multitouch display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution as well as an optional stylus. It is not clear whether the stylus would be similar to the rubber-tipped type we have seen offered for recent tablets, including the iPad or the more advanced active digitizer type on Samsung Galaxy Note series. The latter is supported by Windows 8 tablets, although manufacturers need to add specific hardware in the tablet itself.
Other specs are 2GB of RAM (DDR2 800MHz), Intel Integrated Graphics and 128GB SSD. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and WiFi. It has dual-camera configuration, 2Mp up front and 8Mp at the back. A fingerprint scanner and audio I/O port are also present. Dell will deliver an optional docking station, weighing 1.57lb and measuring 10.8 x 7 x 0.4 inch, it has two battery options: 2-cell (30 Watt-hour) and 4-cell (60 Watt-hour). No word on release date nor exact pricing at this stage, though there were rumors on a November launch.
