Complete Specs of Huawei Ascend P2 Are Revealed
For Huawei, the CES 2013 has been a pretty decent experience as it managed to unveil a few new devices, including the Ascend Mate and Ascend D2. However, many are already discussing about the company’s next slim smartphone, the Ascend P2. The Ascend P2 is a follow-up of the earlier P1 and it will be available for Western market, including the United States. Up to this point, we haven’t heard anything official from Huawei, although a complete set of specs has been published by sources in China.
The phone may come with 5” display with 720p screen resolution, which is relatively low compared to the one used by 1080p devices. The Ascend P2 will include Huawei’s proprietary processor the 1.8GHz HiSilicon K3V2 quad-core processor and Jelly Bean OS (Android 4.1). Other features include 13Mp rear camera, 1.3Mp front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 3000mAh battery and 8GB of onboard storage.
The phone should arrive with standard connectivity options such as HSDPA, HSUPA, EDGE, GPRS, miniUSB 2.0 port, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi. It is rather unfortunate that phone doesn’t have microSD card slot, which may force multimedia lovers to juggle between files they need to store.
