BlackBerry Aristo is Possible RIM’s Next Flasghip
Moments after details of BlackBerry Laguna were released, rumors on another new BlackBerry 10 device called Aristo surface. Judging from its specs list, it appears that the phone packs an enormous amount of power underneath its chassis. If the leaked specs list is accurate, the Aristo will be placed at the top position in BlackBerry 10 hierarchy. The Aristo will be powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 “Krait” quad core processor. It also uses 4.65” 720p OCTA Glass OLED display, which delivers high definition graphics. Samsung developed the OCTA display and at just 8.85mm thick, the phone is the thinnest BlackBerry smartphone yet.
We have hot finally a huge 2GB of RAM, which allows intensive multitasking tasks. Available connectivity options are Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, NFC, WiFI Direct, mini-HDMI and microUSB. There’s a beefy 2800mAh battery, but it’s unfortunately sealed and non-removable by users. We get an 8Mp rear-facing camera, but 2Mp front-facing side snapper looks like standard fare. It appears RIM is serious about jumping headlong into the thick of it, so stay tuned.
