AT&T Pantech Renue Review
Pantech Renue is a messaging device manufactured from 67 percent recyclable materials. Featuring a 3.2” capacitive display, the phone also has a 3Mp rear-facing camera and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Other than the eco-friendly theme, Renue is also built to take some amount punishment. Certified for 810G Military Spec, it offers exceptional resistance against solar radiation, vibration, humidity, extreme temperature swings, dust and sand.
The Pantech Renue uses the BREW MP OS developed by Qualcomm, with a lock-screen and customizable home screens. BREW OS is currently in use by a limited number of phone makers, such as HTC, Samsung and Huawei, however many users are unaware that they are using BREW OS due to lack of branding and it often operates behind a custom UI. Other features are Bluetooth 2.1, USB connectivity, microSD card slot, a single core Qualcomm processor and 256MB of RAM. AT&T offers the phone for only $69,99 with a 2-year contract agreement.
