Android 4.2.2 Will Be Released This Month
We have seen leaks on the Android 4.2.2 previously and it’s a general consensus that the build will be the last software update before the Key Lime Pie (Android 4.3/5.0) to be released in May at Google I/O event. Some believe that Google’s employees are still testing the Android 4.2.2 build for use on numerous Nexus devices.
It’s also expected that the update will bring minimal enhancements and fixes, one of them is the stuttering audio when users attach a Bluetooth headset to the Google Nexus 7 tablet. Quite recently, a new image surfaced and it showed a Galaxy Nexus unit running a build identified as Android 4.2.2.
We may expect the update to arrive later this month, perhaps before the Mobile World Congress 2013 starts. However, there are also reports that Nexus 4 units to be shipped for Brazil already have Android 4.2.2 preinstalled.
