Samsung Galaxy S2At one time, the Galaxy S2 was Samsung’s flagship and it became the most popular Android smartphone in 2011. The phone is still adequately powerful to run current apps and there are still many people who use it. For this reason, Samsung has released the Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy S2. It will be available initially for unlocked units and it may take awhile for carriers to release the update for phones in their network.
The Android 4.1.2 update will offer specific features that are often associated with the Jelly Bean, including Google Now and the smooth-scrolling Project Butter. The former sends out essential information users typically need, like stock quotes, traffic reports, weather, sport scores and many others.

Jelly Bean also offers improved lock screen design and better camera options. Smart Stay prevents the display from sleeping while you are using the phone with minimal activities. Pop-up Play offers smooth multitasking when you are watching videos.
