A Macbook Air Clone Running Android 4.0 Surfaces
Android is definitely a very versatile platform, perhaps more versatile than iOS and Windows Phone. It appears on all kinds of devices from smartphones to tablets to wristwatches to smart TVs. The Android Book is just another proof that Android could conveniently land on almost anything. Android Book is essentially a netbook-like device running Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). By taking a quick glance on the device, just about anyone can smell those lawsuits in the air, since Android Book looks like a blatant rip-off of Apple’s Macbook Air.
Apart from close similarities in physical design , the Android Book still seems like a more than decent solution to our computing needs. It comes with decent hardware configuration; 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 13.3” (1366 x 768) display and 8GB SSD. On the downside, the display is not touch-capable. Android Book offers a battery life of 8 hours, which is more than decent. There will be also a version using Intel Atom processor but with a mere of 3 hours of battery life.
