Jelly Bean - Android 4.1We have been expecting Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) for quite some time and it will be introduced officially tomorrow. These are possible new enhancements for Android 4.1:

  1. Slightly Improved UI:  Ice Cream Sandwich is already a radical update to previous Android versions, so it is likely Google will limit itself to only minor refinements, such as different search bar visuals.
  2. Chrome: A leaked screenshot showed that Chrome will replace the stock browser, which is not a bad thing.
  3. No Flash Support: Google announced months ago that Flash will no longer be supported after Ice Cream Sandwich. It is still unclear whether Google will keep its promise.
  4. Better File Manager: Current Android stock file manager has limited capabilities. With Jelly Bean, we may see file manager features that are only available previously in 3rd party apps.
  5. More Focus on Tablet: Rumors indicated that Jelly Bean is a shift toward tablet.
  6. Voice Assistant: As Apple has launched Siri and Samsung launched S-Voice (Samsung Galaxy S III). For Google, this should be a good time to release a stable version of “Majel”.

Better virtual keyboard: The new keyboard may be integrated with a voice assistant and may easily switch between languages.
